Position: Security Officer

Location: Ada, MI

Pay Rate: $19/hr

Shift: 3rd Shift (11:30pm - 7:30am)

Job Summary:

Join our Corporate Security Department, where your primary responsibility will be ensuring the safety and protection of employees and company facilities in Ada. This role involves a wide variety of duties, from conducting routine patrols and monitoring traffic to responding to first aid and fire emergencies. You'll also take on confidential special investigations and projects that require a high level of discretion and responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine patrols of company facilities, monitoring for safety concerns.
• Manage traffic and access control.
• Respond to first aid, fire fighting, and other emergency situations as needed.
• Assist with confidential investigations and special projects.
• Adhere to rotating work schedules and mandatory overtime requirements.
• Participate in fire fighting and first aid training, as well as actual response when necessary.
• Walk significant distances as part of patrols, and handle occasional physical activity.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• 2-4 years of experience in security or criminal justice field.
• Ability to work flexible hours and manage overtime.
