Job Description
Are you a passionate cybersecurity professional with deep expertise in Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR)? We are looking for a seasoned Principal Consultant to join our dynamic and collaborative team, working remotely to help clients across industries respond to and recover from critical cyber incidents.
In this role, you'll act as a technical expert, leading incident response efforts, guiding clients through high-pressure situations, and delivering results that help them understand and mitigate the impact of security breaches. What You'll Do
Lead the incident response process, from detection to recovery, working closely with other team members and clients.
Conduct sophisticated forensic analysis to determine the scope and impact of incidents, including malware analysis and reverse engineering.
Manage investigations of varying size and complexity, including business email compromises and ransomware incidents.
Mentor and guide a team of 3-4 forensic consultants, providing support for their professional development.
Clearly articulate complex forensic findings to both technical and non-technical audiences, providing reports and evidence that contribute to an effective response strategy.
Collaborate with clients and internal teams to enhance incident response processes and develop best practices.
Stay on top of industry trends and emerging threats, actively contributing to research and development activities.
Provide after-hours support on a rotational basis to ensure continuous coverage for critical incidents.

You are a dedicated cybersecurity professional with proven experience in Digital Forensics and Incident Response. You're comfortable working in fast-paced environments and are committed to delivering high-quality results, no matter the complexity of the situation. You thrive in mentoring others, sharing your knowledge, and fostering team growth. Your strong communication skills enable you to translate technical findings into clear and actionable insights for clients.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, OR equivalent professional experience.
Previous experience leading forensic investigations and managing teams.
Advanced proficiency with forensic tools such as ELK, Axiom, EnCase, FTK, or other industry-standard tools.
Expertise in network analysis and intrusion detection techniques.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a proven ability to present complex information clearly.
Willingness to provide after-hours support as part of an on-call rotation.
