Responsibilities
Manages the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants
Supports new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
Assist in managing employee relations by investigating, resolving, and communicating in regard to employee questions, issues, or concerns.
Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
Benefits Administration including new hire enrollment and annual open enrollment
Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors.
Partner with and coach leadership team on employee relations matters
Assists with learning and development initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes (including federal, state and local employment laws and regulations) to ensure HR compliance.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
5+ years of human resources experience
HR experience in a manufacturing/production environment required
