Key Responsibilities:
* Design, analyze, and optimize mechanical systems related to fire protection and safety.
* Work closely with project managers and other engineering teams to ensure systems meet client requirements and safety standards.
* Conduct feasibility studies and perform technical evaluations of fire protection equipment and systems.
* Collaborate with the design and installation teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems into building projects.
* Prepare technical reports, drawings, and specifications for fire protection systems.
* Ensure compliance with local, state, and national fire protection codes and standards (NFPA, etc.).
* Provide support in system testing, troubleshooting, and field assessments as needed.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
* Experience in fire protection systems or mechanical design is preferred, but not required.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
* Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, etc.) and other engineering tools.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
* Self-motivated with a passion for learning and professional development.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
