Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY: 

The Director of Talent Acquisition is responsible for the management and development of the Talent Acquisition Advisors. Connects and collaborates with multiple departments across the organization. The main focus of this team is to recruit, source, and bring in a large number of applications to ScribeAmerica. The Director of Talent Acquisition is responsible for overseeing workloads are maintained properly for current business and potential growth, important KPIs are maintained and proper goals are achieved for staffing teams, partnering with internal business partners to communicate and collaborate to achieve revenue goals, and ensure the department is properly staffed and aligned with operational counterparts.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Develops and implements strategic initiatives for recruiting diverse talent in a multi-site organization.

  • Partners with Operational leaders to forecast and develop plans for key staffing initiatives.

  • Manages a full cycle recruiting process to meet the various staffing goals across all levels within multiple regions.

  • Works with Operations to ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood and candidates are assessed against appropriate criteria.

  • Develops strong relationships with hiring managers, business leaders and HR.

  • Works closely with Operational Team Members and HR to maximize effectiveness of the recruiting process.

  • Tracks success of sourcing in all assigned regions

  • Actively participates in all staffing related activities and engage in cross functional projects.

  • Networks through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups and employees.

  • Coordinates and implements college recruiting initiatives.

  • Takes a proactive approach to establishing a pipeline of qualified candidates.

  • Researches and recommends new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.

  • Develops working relationships within colleges to aid in recruiting.

  • Lead, mentor and manage a team of advisors, providing guidance and support in all aspects of the recruiting process

  • Drive continuous improvement across the organization

  • Help develop and execute employer branding strategies to enhance the organization’s reputation as the employer of choice.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent recruiting experience preferred

  • 3-5 years of experience leading a recruiting team

  • Display exemplary work ethic, professionalism and interpersonal skills

  • Demonstrate technical capability, strategic thinking, exceptional attention to detail, time management and organization, communication proficiency, leadership and teamwork

  • Ability to build rapport with all employees

  • Need to be able to influence leaders and pull projects across the finish line. 

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to foster long term relationships (with internal teams, external partners and candidates)

  • Proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Director or similar role, with a track record of successfully managing high-volume recruitment processes.

  • Excellent knowledge of talent acquisition strategies, best practices, and emerging trends

  • Strong leadership abilities, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of recruiters (advisors) to achieve targets and exceed expectations.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Proficient in using applicant tracking systems and other recruitment tools to streamline processes and ensure accurate reporting.

  • Extensive experience in sourcing and attracting top talent, utilizing various channels, including social media, job boards and professional networks

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to analyze recruitment data, identify trends and make data driven decisions.

  • Ability to adapt to a fast pace and changing environment, demonstrating flexibility and resilience
