THE ROLE

The Recruiter will report directly to the Finance & HR Manager to develop, implement and execute hiring strategies and recruitment needs for the company. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge and experience with internal recruiting across various departments. The Recruiter will excel in the ability to source, recruit, and interview potential candidates. The candidate will possess advanced skills with Linkedin recruiting, sourcing, tools, and networking. The Recruiter will have the expertise in sourcing and recruiting tactics to present qualified candidates to the management team. The candidate will communicate to department managers and upper management regarding timelines, status, feedback, and the like on a daily basis.

THE JOB

• Achieves staffing objectives by recruiting and evaluating job candidates; advising managers; and managing relocations and intern program.
• Establishes recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives and meeting with managers to discuss needs.
• Maintains Applicant Tracking System and keeps information regarding all past and present candidates organized and accessible.
• Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; and maintaining rapport.
• Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications.
• Attracts applicants by placing job advertisements, contacting recruiters, and using newsgroups and job sites.
• Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants, analyzing responses, verifying references, and comparing qualifications to job requirements.
• Arranges management interviews by coordinating schedules
• Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers and interviewing applicants on a consistent set of qualifications.
• Improves organization attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices; monitoring job offers and compensation practices; and emphasizing benefits and perks.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
THE SKILLS NEEDED
• 2-4 years exempt and non-exempt recruiting experience in full life-cycle environment, including management of multiple high-volume roles simultaneously
• Minimum 2 years’ experience recruiting in relevant industry environment
• Recruiting and interviewing skills
• Phone Microsoft Teams and online meeting platform skills
• Supports workplace diversity
• Familiarity with relevant employment Law
• Professionalism, organization, and project management skills
