Job Description

This full-time accounting position is based at our Bedford Hts., Ohio location (in-office person required).

Key Responsibilities/Essentials Job Functions:

• Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly and year-end financial statements.
• Coordinate, monitor and oversee organizational and department budgets.
• Reconcile inventory valuation monthly. Assist in cycle counts and physical inventory counts.
• Monitor margin analysis at SKU level and by product.
• Proactively interact with management team to ensure all parties have a clear and accurate picture of the business unit’s overall financial performance.
• Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to the general ledger.
• Reconcile and analyze general ledger accounts monthly.
• Perform banking duties as assigned. Perform cash management including reconciliation of bank statements and monitoring cash balance.
• Review and assist in accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
• Monitor accounting processes for internal compliance with GAAP.
• Support bank and external financial audits or reviews.

Required Education, Skills & Experience:

• 3-5+ years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• Knowledge of GAAP.
• Strong ERP experience with NetSuite/Oracle a plus.
• Excel and proficiency in other MS Office applications.
